My brother, Keith, informs me that his wife had their baby today.
Being an Aunt feels more real when it is your own sibling that has a child.
Not that the Mitchells, Flynns, and Kenningtons don’t feel like my nephews and nieces. Cuz they do. I just didn’t feel like an Aunt yet.
All the official everything:
Molly Joelle Smith was born today at 2:13 pm MST in Payson, UT. She is 7 lbs, 5 ounces and 21 inches long. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and all 10 fingers and all 10 toes. They went to the hospital at 6:10 this morning and the doctor broke Stacy’s water around 8:00, so she had a good 6 hours of labor. She liked the epidural. Molly was delivered by Dr. Takasaki, who also delivered Stacy and some of her siblings! It was his first multi-generational delivery.
Congratulations Keith & Stacy, and welcome to the world Molly!! I can’t wait to see all of you!
