Today some of my fellow Relay for Life team members and I got our shirts ready for the big event on Friday night.
Our team name is “Helping Hands,” which we “borrowed” from the Church’s humanitarian efforts. Our team is mostly comprised of church members in our area.
We “borrowed” a similar image for our shirts and ironed them onto the sleeves. We thought there would be room on the front or the back, but they really filled up the shirts this year. They look really great on the sleeves, though.
It was nice to have such great help, we were able to finish all the shirts in less than an hour!
Stay tuned, I’ll let you know how the event turns out, assuming I can figure out how to take pictures with my cell phone at night!
