Its December everyone! I’m far too busy to be writing this, but I decided to neglect my Russan homework as today is my last Russian class and it was giving me a headache. So I’m typing one-handed while I nurse.
Evelyn is growing so fast! She is 3 months old, as of Thanksgiving day. We spent her first Thanksgiving at my parent’s house, and later that weekend we drove to Seattle to go to the temple with Steve’s parents, and then to Yelm to visit Steve’s sister, Angie, and her family. Evelyn got to be held A LOT, which happens to be her second favorite thing in the world. Milk is first.
Now I’m home and frantically trying to finish getting ready for my first craft fair, which happens tomorrow! I’ll make sure to take lots of pictures.
Speaking of pictures, I’ve decided that I want to document Evelyn’s first Christmas by taking a picture of her each day this month and posting them. But today is the 2nd!! So, I’ll post today’s and yesterdays today. Hopefully I’ll be more on top of things now that school and the craft fair are nearly finished.
This is Evelyn all bundled up and ready to go out into the snow. Since the snow started falling we’ve started carrying her to school instead of pushing the stroller, since its hard to push the stroller through the snow. She doesn’t seem to mind this at all. She is also showing everyone one of her new tricks- she loves sitting up. This picture was actually taken on Nov. 30th, but thats close enough.
And here we have quite the opposite of bundled: naked as a jaybird. Thanks to GIMP’s smudge tool I’m sharing this (now-genderless) picture of Evelyn getting a bath tonight from her Daddy before he leaves for work. We’ve been showering her rather than bathing her until recently. I’ve been trying to start a bedtime routine and this is a nice way to switch gears and prepare her for bed. We’ll see how it goes.
And there you go- give me heck if I don’t keep up with my posts this month!
Merry Christmas everyone!
